Tokens are Chaturbate's virtual currency. You buy them with real money and use them to tip performers in public chat rooms, request specific actions, unlock private shows, or buy "spy shows" where you watch another user's private session. Models earn tokens from viewers, then convert them to cash.

How to Use Tokens

Tipping in Public Rooms

Most interaction on Chaturbate happens in free public chat rooms. You tip by typing an amount in the chat (e.g., /tip 50) or using the tip menu if the model has one. Models often have "tip goals": a target amount that triggers a specific show or action. Common tips range from 20–200 tokens.

Private Shows

You can request a private show where the model performs exclusively for you. Models set their own per-minute token rate, typically 6–90 tokens/minute. During a private show you can also enable cam2cam (you on camera too) for an extra 6 tokens/minute on most models.

Spy Shows

Spy shows let you watch another user's private session for a lower token rate. You can see and hear everything but can't interact. It's a budget-friendly way to get premium content.

Are Chaturbate Tokens Worth It?
